Jason Chapa

I graduated from West Ottawa High School in 2003, and was part of the 2003 D1 State Championship Baseball team. I played two years at Muskegon Community College as a starting outfielder. After MCC Jason became the President/Coach at Western Michigan University for their Club Baseball team. He has been coaching Travel Baseball for 11 years, and coached several HS athletes who have become college baseball players. As a travel coach he led two teams to the 18U AABC Regionals in Battle Creek. For a summer, Jason traveled the US instructing baseball camps for the Ripken Baseball Academy. Jason has coached JV baseball at both Holland & West Ottawa HS's, and two years as assistant coach at Kalamazoo College. Currently Jason is the Varsity Assistant Baseball coach at West Ottawa, and the 13U Head Coach for Lakeshore Storm Baseball.
